Interview about Dällebach Kari on Swiss Radio DRS1
A few days ago, Moritz joined the show Swissmade on Swiss Radio DRS1 to give an interview about our upcoming musical “Dällebach Kari”. During the 20 minute Interview, several of our songs were played as well as Moritz and Raquel Rodo, singer of the Radio Versions giving a bit of insight into the development of the Musical. You can listen to the interview below, but you should be able to understand Swiss German :) http://pod.drs.ch/mp3/swissmade/swissmade_201004301600_10134216.mp3
Facebook “Like”-button and more minor updates…
Just a small note on the technical side of my page: After the social network platform Facebook now allows to implement it directly into websites, I added a function to my page that allows you to instantly “recommend” any articles or posts on my page that you might like to your Facebook site just by clicking on the “Like” button below each post. Also, as I noticed that many people search for my tutorials but struggle a bit in scrolling backwards in the post archive until they find them, I added a direct link in the navigation above that transfers you directly to all tutorials I have written so far. All the best Robin
Dällebach Kari – Half of the tickets sold already + Updates
After quite some time another update regarding Dällebach Kari – The Musical. The show is on its way and it looks like it’s going to be a very successful year for the Thuner Seespiele as half of the more than 70000 tickets for the show are currently sold already (3,5 months before the first show) which is a new record for the Thuner Seespiele (even better than their most successful show “West Side Story” two years ago). Of course we all are very pleased about this amazing result and are all very happy about the great reception of the Swiss people as well as the very nice media coverage the show receives in Switzerland. Main rehearsals will start shortly and I’m really looking forward to going back to Thun and seeing it all come...
Priorin – TV Commercial Soundtrack with Orchestra
Recently, we had the rare opportunity to record a soundtrack for a TV commercial with a full symphonic orchestra. Most of the spot is animated and stylistically a bit in the Tim Burton area so we decided to go for a somewhat Danny Elfmanish approach with odd meters, solo vocalists etc. It was quite fun doing such a thing. Moritz cut together a nice small making-of video which shows the process from the “sound on the stage” to the final spot. Check it out below. The final audio in better quality can be heard here: Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser. All the best Robin
