During the summer, I have once again been working on arrangements for the yearly Radio Pilatus Music Night, an event where the Lucerne (Switzerland) based 21st Century Orchestra invites pop music artists to play a crossover concert. In the recent years I have been working on shows of Seven, Stefanie Heinzmann and DJ Bobo. This year, I had the pleasure to write arrangements for Kunz and Dada Ante Portas who did a joint concert this year.
Last week I went to the beautiful city of Lucerne to attend rehearsals and the first show at the incredible KKL, which is one of the most amazing concert venues I know.
We had a lot of fun with the great 21st Century Orchestra conducted by Ludwig Wicki and the two bands and the four shows were a huge success.
I’m incredibly happy to have been a part of this project once again. I once again got the chance to arrange the ouverture for the show as I did with the past two shows, so below you can hear a little excerpt of it.
There is also a video avaliable online which covers the show, which is in Swiss German but also has some bits of the concerts.
