The year has started quite busy for me.
Two days ago, I flew to Prague to record the score for RECYCLING LILY, a very charming romantic comedy, which I composed together with Philipp Schweidler and Moritz Schneider. We had a blast in Prague once again and the music was very different compared to what I’ve done recently so it felt like a really nice breeze of fresh air after doing quite a bunch of big and epic sounding trailer cues recently, which you can hear at the AUDIO section.
The orchestra of this project didn’t incorporate any of the heavy brass instruments but a lot of woodwinds, celesta and melodic percussion which all added to a quite special and unique sound that you don’t get to hear that much anymore in today’s film music. Right now, the score is on its way to be mixed in the UK. I’m really looking forward to the results.
