New Score Sheet section
After I get a lot of emails by people asking me whether I can send them some of my music as score sheets for studying purposes, I decided to put up a little section on my homepage which allows you to read through full orchestral score sheets and listen to the orchestral recordings of these cues. Violin Concerto for Anna Karkowska released on CD
After quite a few months went by since the recording of my Violin Concerto for Anna Karkowska and the London Symphony Orchestra in July 2010, finally a CD has been released which contains the concerto together with selections from Paganini, Wienawski and Sarasate. The 2 CD set “Virtuosity” has been released by the lable Starlight Classics and can be ordered on their site: http://www.starlightclassics.com/. “Liebling, lass uns scheiden” – Premiere in Zurich
On November 16th, I went to Zurich to attend the world premiere of “Liebling, lass uns scheiden” for which I and Moritz wrote the score. The premiere took place in the really large cinema “Corso” in Zurich and was a big success. A few days ago, video footage from the recording of my Violin Concerto for Anna Karkowska and the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios was made availabe on Youtube. It includes footage from the recording session as well as interviews and short clips from the recording and is available in High Definition. There are interviews included with Anna Karkowska, conductor Benjamin Wallfisch, Violinist expert Benjamin Hebbert, pianist and producer Kasha Karkowska, violinist and conductor Dennis Simons, me and others.
